Lorraine J. Gudas , Ph.D.
Research Focus: Dr. Gudas and her laboratory members have study the pharmacology and molecular actions of retinoids with respect to cancer treatment and cancer prevention for over twenty years, during which time her research has been continuously supported by NIH and other agencies. Dr. Gudas is also focused on the molecular mechanisms by which embryonic stem cells differentiate and on limb regeneration in mice. Her laboratory has developed new murine models for head and neck cancer, and for kidney cancer.
