Welcome to the GUDAS lab.  We are a team of dynamic and enthusiastic students, postdoctoral fellows, technicians, and faculty working together to define the actions of stem cells  in cancer initiation. We are focused on kidney, head and neck, and pancreatic cancer.  We also are discovering new functions of nutrients, such as vitamin A and other retinoids, in cancer prevention, and in the treatment of diseases, such as fatty liver disease and diabetes, that affect a greater number of people each year.  We are located on the Weill Cornell campus  in New York City, a vibrant and exciting city.

It is extremely motivating and challenging to perform research in pharmacology that may help patients with cancer or diabetes to live longer and healthier lives.
