I earned my Ph.D. from the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and have been part of the Weill Cornell Medicine community since 2005. I completed my postdoctoral training at Dr. Thomas Sato’s lab and Dr. Katherine Hajjar’s lab, where I developed a strong interest in vascular biology and mouse genetics. I have generated multiple genetically modified mouse models and contributed to several first‑author studies published in journals such as Nature Communications, Journal of Experimental Medicine, and Nature Cell Biology. It was an honor to join Dr. Gudas’ lab in December 2025, where my current research focuses on understanding the in vivo and in vitro roles of retinoid signaling in kidney cancer and liver diseases. I enjoy exploring deep mechanistic questions with hands‑on experimental approaches and collaborative science. Outside the lab, I love soccer and Zumba, and I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog, Lisa. I like volunteering in community programs related to children’s education.
