I was born and raised in Mount Vernon, NY and graduated from Fordham University in 2017 having studied General Science and Theological Studies. After a volunteered year of biochemistry lab experience, I began a post-bac program at the University of Pennsylvania where I investigated the use of specific metabolites in the prevention/treatment of NAFLD/NASH. In the fall of 2019, I began the Pharmacology PhD program here at Weill Cornell and have since joined the Gudas lab! My projects will look into the potentially therapeutic role of specific RA Receptor agonists in metabolic diseases such as NAFLD and Type 2 Diabetes. I am a proud first generation U.S. citizen and am excited to grow as a scientist with this amazing team.
